I love when I’m studying outside and a bee is like “flower? r u a flower? I check! is laptop a flower? i check! No one here a flower… ciao!” and I wave goodbye saying thank you for visiting little bee!

things i love about autumn
- waking up and my window is cold to the touch
- foggy mornings
- the forest is filled with 1000 different shades of colors
- that smell you can’t describe as anything other than autumn
- pumpkin spice lattes
- halloween
- wearing sweaters and boots and beanies
- the crunch of leaves under my shoes
- breathing in the cold air
- stargazing on crisp nights
- the feeling of coziness paired with adventure
- drinking hot tea while reading a book outside
Listen man I’m just trying to wear soft sweaters and read my books and love myself .
I love grandma activities… sleeping early, drinking tea, knitting, buying ugly sweaters and tacky clothing, gardening, feeding all the neighbourhood cats, sewing… Im all abt that!
I need rain and sweaters and forests and tea n chilly weather forever
a list of things that remind me of you:
turtleneck sweaters / violin cases / eating chocolate icing from the jar / the entire score of Wicked / honeybees / hot chocolate / cinnamon / 7am / writing letters / checking the mailbox / checking the mailbox again / black ankle boots / minivans / bad parking jobs / gelato / the gaslight anthem / mumford and sons / anything played on the ukulele / custom lingerie / fake red roses / post-it notes / German / naughty schoolgirl contests / nuns / obscure indie music / Ohio / 9:30 Club / E.E. Cummings / Avatar: The Last Airbender / holding hands at the movies / flip phones / ordering chocolate milk at a restaurant / ferris wheels / 22 / drunk voicemails / Birdies Coffee Shop / honey spice rooibos tea / polka dots / pianos / pool tables / the way it feels when you ache and ache and ache and then sink to the bottom of the bathtub and for just a few minutes it doesn’t ache anymore
HELLO ALL!!! FALL IS JUST AROUND THE CORNER AND YOU’LL GET TO WEAR JEANS AND LONG SLEEVE SHIRTS AND SWEATERS!!! YOU WONT GET ALL HOT JUST WALKING OUTSIDE FOR 3 minUTES!! THE LEAVES WILL BE CHANGING AND COFFEE WILL BE APPROPRIATE AT 10AM AND 10PM!! THERE WILL BE BETTER DAYS AHEAD. I’m exited for us!
sometimes i’m like “why am i still here” but then i realize that i’m often the only person who is around to take bad-to-eat stuff out of my dog’s mouth and i think there’s this sort of western idea of “if youre not CEO youre nothing special” but my dog is still alive bc of me and i’m still alive bc of other people so maybe i’m just here to pet cats and wear sweaters and help people take the glass out of their mouth. you know? maybe i won’t be CEO but maybe i’ll be able to help somebody afford their trip home. and i think that’s pretty okay, you know?
i needed to hear this today i think
Litha Altar Decorations
- lots and lots of flowers that grow native in your area this time of year
- sunflowers, roses, lavender, dandelions
- flower crowns and flower garlands
- a bowl of fruit and vegetables, especially anything citrus like oranges
- lots of candles (Litha is a fire sabbat)
- colours like yellow, gold, and orange
- you could have a vase of sticks with fairy lights in it to represent a bonfire
- maypoles are still a thing for Litha
- a cute offering dish to leave out sweets for the fae
- a jar of local honey
- anything that represents the sun
- incense (sandalwood, rose, lavender, frankincense, dragon’s blood)
- oak leaves and acorns
- anything that reflects the sun like suncatchers, glass beads, and mirrors
